But when a local newspaper devotes 2/3 of its front page to a promo piece about a TV show, I do wonder who owns the local station that's running that show.

On another Whig-related note, they are trying to tell us that the young woman (who I'm sure is a very nice person) who is coordinating the 2009 Tri-State Development Summit (not the 2008 Summit 'cause there ain't one) and is also working on YP Quincy is going to be one of the ten most important people in the news this year.
Really? Just because she works for GREDF, I guess that makes her important.

I think you're reading a lot into the American Idol thing. I'm not sure they're that well organized, to orchestrate that kind of promotion. More likely that they just didn't have anything better to write about that day..
