Push Polls
I was phoned last week by the "Ask Illinois" fake poll recording. Is this what local politics has come to? Embarrassing and all too obvious. Whoever commissioned that piece of crap should hang his head.
It wouldn't hurt to see a news story about the thing, too.

Hm, maybe they did and I missed it.
Let's see, the questions were #1, something like "Do you think that the school board should place children first?" and #2, "Do you think the school board should spend more money than it takes in?" or words to that effect. I thought for a split sencond about answering "yes" to that last one just so whoever did the poll couldn't claim 100% support, but then figured that since they weren't interested in genuine results anyway, why play the silly game. So I hung up before the end of the recording.
Fuckers called me up and hung up me. Bastards.

In confusion I said yes
Computer did an electronic snicker and told me to let him out in a HAL voice then hung up
