Life's Little Mysteries

Just got off the highway....noticed gas for 2.13 in Canton and 2.27 in West Quincy. That's a 14-cent spread unexplainable by the tax difference from Illinois to Missouri. Only explanation I can think of is that the station owners in West Quincy must be colluding to keep prices higher, which of course would be an illegal restraint of trade. They wouldn't do that, would they? Nah. There must be some other explanation.

$2.22 in Carthage on Sat. and I filled up in West Quincy about 1 hour before I was in Carthage. I love getting robbed. You would think that all my tax $ I have given to MO they would have some roads at least half as nice as 336.
