I don't think it's a "beat" or "trump" , it is just a different format . With not having to ready anything for PRINT , QuincyNews.org can use the net for it's intended purpose .
It did? Doggone, I missed it. I apologize for the error. Can't see Thursday's paper online at the moment because of some sort of glitch in the .pdfs, but I'll take your word for it.
Are you sure about that? I've tossed out my print copy of Thursday's paper, but I entered "Tribune" in the search box of the online Whig, and the most recent story with that word in it that came up was in a story from April 15, 2006.
They may have had a story on a bookstore opens downtown but what hasn't he had that the paper has? I saw a new store will open near WalMart in the paper. Where is it on this miralce website?
I thought the dairy closing was a pretty big deal. 100 years of Quincy history seems to be done. Website seemed to have that over everyone. Paper kind of blew that off.
the bookstore and the mattress shop is a wash. Let's see if either of one of them is open in a year.
I think we also have to see if the new website is open in a year as well. This economy is getting pretty tough on everyone.
Of course, the Whig tells us all is well. Like making a big deal of the new grocery store. Didn't we already know that?

Oooh, the bookstore opened. (And yes, the Tribune story was in the whig.) Wow. Let's all clap for this remarkable breaking news.
Thanks for the correction.
