Fish in a Barrel

"Most of those making inquiries have been reluctant to invest because they want to see more big manufacturing recruitments into the city, rather than small retail additions, Jansen said."

followed by

"He said local customers need to stay loyal to locally owned businesses in the central business district." (also known as small retail additions)

This Maine Street Tap debacle is just too easy to make fun of.

Somebody send that Jansen, bastard, or whatever his god damn name is, to a psychiatrist. He is obviously having reality problems. This ain't funny anymore, guy thinks people are believing his crap!!! Lock that fucker up. And make him put in some windows, and pay his taxes like everyone else, for God's sake.

And don't give him anymore "economic development" money. Let's give out money to the sane people from now on. Christ!

What can you really say about a bar whose motto was:

"Come in, get drunk, get loud, and we'll drag you out back and beat the crap out of you!"

Not a big selling point, you know?

Jansen no longer controls the building. Court gave it to Central State Bank at foreclosure hearing on Tuesday.
