Five regular folks expressed their opinions on the Whig's "Five Times Five" page today, and all of them said that "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" should be repealed.

Kind of like the current Commander-in-Chief. But then again he doesn't have much experience in anything.
I'm not military, but I used to care. I'm not sure that I do anymore. Tell me why I, or an enlisted, should?
We're to the point now that an Air Force colonel writing in Joint Force Quarterly says DADT should be done away with. So I'd say that the tide of history has turned irresistibly, and the only thing left for the President to do is acknowledge that fact.
Well, there could be few comments because now we can get arrested for 'hate speech' if we comment against gays! Obama's new law.
Sorry to disturb your fantasies, but the Attorney General has said unequivocally that the law would only be used to prosecute violent crimes.
Like service men from time immemorial didn't know who the gay guys in there unit were anyhow.
The only gay who's a security risk is the closet gay, because he has something with which he could be blackmailed. The openly gay guy is no more a security risk than a Yankee Fan or a Soccer Player.
So, when the people say, they're against "Don't ask, don't tell," it doesn't tell you how they feel about gays in the military (although some of them did state their view on that as well.)
